Given the lack of threadage on the cancellation, I assume it wasn't well liked?

Quite enjoyed the series, although the third season closer had about as strong a whiff of "series closer" as you can get.

Still, good premise, some good stories, some dubious effects and acting, but - by and large - a very well done world. I will miss it as it was probably the closest thing we'll see to DS9 or B5 with regard to character motivations for some time.

I enjoyed the hell out of it, and I'll miss it.
The finale was pure visual poetry.

I enjoyed the hell out of that series and will miss it. The season finale had "series finale" written all over it, so I wasn't surprised that SyFy cancelled it.

I never watched this show. Actually I think I saw the first episode or so, and I thought the acting was kinda wooden. I guess I should give it a chance.

    It got better.

My wife bailed after a while, because the whole setup of the show's universe depended on knowing the video game. She didn't like not knowing the background, why things were the way they were, etc. Me, I just rolled with it, and had a ball.

I watched the first two seasons with varying degrees of interest. The extended period between season 1 and season 2 hurt because I couldn't recall some of the carryover plotlines.

I started with the Season 3 premier, but quit watching after that. Within 1 minute of screen time in that episode, they killed off an entire family the comprised 60% of the human main characters. It was just too much.

The first episode didn't sell it too well, but it was worth sticking with - the sheer amount of decent characters made it so. I didn't bother with the game, so prolly missed a few things, but the show never depended enough on it to be confusing.

And of you liked Garak in DS9, you'll love Yewll...

My favorite character was Daytak. Talk about chewing the scenery.

The plot was confusing and complex at times, but the characters were interesting.

I would have kept watching, but I'm not really upset that it was canceled.

Speaking of recently cancelled shows, I'm glad Hannibal is gone. Season 3 sucked terribly. "Yeah, instead of the interesting prequel stuff from the first two seasons, let's instead rehash stuff that was already made into movies. We really need to do Manhunter/Red Dragon a third fucking time!" I want to know who thought that was a good idea, so I can e-mail them and let them know exactly how stupid that idea was.

Masters of Sex had already been renewed for a forth season, so overall I'm happy.
