Some pretty cool pics of Atlantis being moved in prep for attachment to the main fuel tank and SRBs. I always wondered how they did that. Linky Also moving her to the pad for her last launch. Linky I know these shuttles aren't all that 'cool' from a sci-fi spaceship perspective, and are very limited in what they can do, but as a kid growing up in the 80s I'm going to miss seeing them fly.
I just came back from my first live viewing of a shuttle launch. All I can say is HOLY FUCK!!!! I will post pics later.
