I've been mostly absent these past few months, and there's good reasons for it. Life is happening quickly, and I am pleased to announce that sometime in December, I am going to be a very proud papa! I've been sharing the news with everyone, and I thought I'd come back here and share with you all as well. It's...well, it's a pretty amazing feeling.
You will be VERY proud.... ....unless of course, there's an unfortunate outcome....like so.... Just kidding! Congrats! (out of rep right now)
Congratulations!!! Babies are a lot of fun! A bit of advice, NEVER take an infant that has just eaten and lift them up above you and shake them around to get them laughing. They will laugh, but you may get some spit-up all over you. It's not fun. Also, eventually (not until they are a bit older) get the Baby Einstein dvd's. They are great, you can put them on and just use the music to soothe the baby while they are sleeping and when the baby is awake, they are very fun. My little sister loved them when she was a baby.
