And he's an interesting fellow. Should be amusing to watch this develop. Good to see that the world's largest democracy is keeping its shit together with regular and apparently fairly clean elections.
From what I've read, he's quite competent/talented. But (and it's a big one), he is also a Hindu fundamentalist with a history of looking the other way when anti-Moslem violence erupts. He is going to be tested at some point, and when he is, I hope he remembers that he is Prime Minister for all of India.
Yeah, that could be problematic going forward. He also seems to be a bit shaky on women's rights. We'll see.
