Covid arrived in 2019... and yeah, I've seen more substantial, longer lasting damage to an ear from a grown out piercing. His shooting was a crudely executed fake, barely worthy of dinner theatre.
Here's the thing. The family of the kid with the gun could come forward and provide proof that Biff paid money for his son to "take a shot", there could be audio and/or video of Biff or one of his minions making the deal, and the MAGAts either wouldn't believe it was true or they wouldn't care. Also: considering how much of a walking, talking bag of grievance and whining Biff is, always crying and complaining about how "persecuted" he is, the guy almost never mentions the person who supposedly tried to end his life. Funny, that.

Not to defend Trump, but it may be that his old-ass, Big Mac-addled brain can still actually suffer from PTSD. He may not talk about the assassination attempt because he is scared to.
This, combined with the fact that they didn't really ignore it as much as people say. I imagine every POTUS has numerous assassination plots foiled that we never hear about because they don't reach the point of happening in public, so this was just one among many. Do I think Trump would go for a faked attempt if he thought it would make him look brave and strong? Absolutely. Do I think he did so, no.
