It peaks Saturday morning, 3am ET, but I've been seeing loads of meteors since yesterday and even tonight in light-polluted areas.

My favorite stargazing place should have clear skies and the moon's about to set, so I should have a great view tonight!

My viewpoint was occupied by amateur astronomers! Normally I have it all to myself!

But they had telescopes and let me look through them, so it was OK.

I saw Jupiter and its moons Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto, all in a row, as well as Uranus, Neptune, and the Andromeda galaxy.

Not as many meteors as I saw last night. The brighter ones seemed to be nearer to the horizon, and moved slowly almost like flares.
