Oh, Christ. Rage Against The Machine. Otherwise known as the Screaming Hypocrite Good Time Band.

"FUCK CAPITALISM!" (turns to the manager off-stage and mouths, "Hey, did our royalty check get direct deposited yet?" Waits for the nod. Flashes a thumbs-up, turns back to the mic) "FUCK THE MAN! RRRAAAAAAAUUUGGHHHH!!!"

Don't criticize Rage Against the Machine, they know what they are about. Criticize their fans who pay good money to a capitalist enterprise that's lying to them. Criticize the chumps who buy it. Or maybe people just enjoy the music and the antics and don't care about the politics. I will say this, back in the day, punk was real, and some of it still is. A Monkees/Partridge Family take on the genre with a bit of hip hop thrown in to the mix is just gimmick and mimic.

Nah. I'm not the type to settle for either/or. I go for And. I'll criticize both.
