Apparently not, if it can be used to gain controversy.

Not really. Europe went through all sorts of religious wars and then decided that we could no longer kill people over religion. Indians had already figured that out, painfully, but they also got Indian Muslims to reach the same conclusion. That hasn't happened yet in a lot of the Middle East where zealots keep going back to the Koran's injunctions to slay the infidels. In the West, the religious wars were finally stopped by stripping religious figures of political power (preachers might have an influence, but they can't declare holy wars or anything). That has not yet happened in most of the Muslim world.

My question is whether India figured out some exploit or hack in Islam, of whether Indian Muslims were still culturally Indians instead of nomadic desert raiders. Muhammed's message of war and conquest might resonate strongly in some regions and fall flat in others, such as India and perhaps Indonesia. He was an Arab expressing Arab primitive instincts (steal, rape, intimidate, kill, conquer), but many of the populations he conquered might not share those instincts to the same extent, which is perhaps why they got conquered. Other people's genetics might be more inclined to try and be nice and get along.

Some of it could come down to the rewarded survival traits in a deep desert versus rich farmland where waiting for the monsoon makes a lot more reproductive sense than trying to raid your neighbors to kill them and take their food and women. In the US, the real warrior/raiding tribes were out in the plains and deserts where the populations were thin because the land couldn't support many people and violence and terror was everything. There were no meek Sioux, Comanche, or Apache who just wanted to tend their plants and be happy at it.

It raises some interesting question in evolutionary biology that won't be answered for a long time, not because we can't answer them, but because we won't ask them.

Yeah, that last paragraph...get fucked, tardo. Certainly, your posts here and TBBS are enough proof against the idea of evolution favoring whites certain races over others. :dayton:

There are different behavioral traits encoded in our genes. Which ones get favored are a function of our environment. Ergo, the theory of evolution says that selective pressure could produce different populations in different environments. It's been long suggested that the ancient Greeks fought so many wars that they ran thin on fighting genes and now just won't do it. This frustrated Europeans a century ago who kept reading Homer and thinking they could turn Greece back into a warrior state.
