Perhaps the State Department can explain how they allow classified material on personal email?

So under Hillary and Kerry, the State Department was in violation of federal law. Good to know.

Allowing classified top-secret information to reach an unclassified network carries a ten year prison sentence.

Good luck on imprisoning the entire upper echelon of the whole State Department. It's just not going to happen, regardless of what they law says. Besides, why do you care? It'll hardly matter when the reptilians enslave us. In the meantime, wouldn't it be more fulfilling personally if you were off tracking Bigfoot or something?

The entire State Department doesn't receive classified information on private e-mail systems. Only Hillary and her croanies like Huma Abedin did. Huma, by the way, should not have been allowed to have a security clearance. Her entire family holds leadership positions in the Muslim Brotherhood and some have ties to Al Qaeda.

One of my housemates, when he was in Marine Corps officer training, was prohibited from going into intelligence because his father had gotten remarried to a Russian woman, and under the rules nobody with a foreign relative from an adversary can work in intelligence.

But rules are for little people.

I'll bet Hillary was using private e-mail to try to save military members' lives or something supe important! Oh wait, that was an actual Marine who will likely be court-martialed. Ironically, one of the people trying to nail the Marine went to work for the State Department.
FYI lots of linked ads. So get your lazy fingers working and google the Marine getting railroaded and use another news source if need be.

She's in trouble. Not due to the initial issue, but as is almost always the case the cover up. Turning over wiped servers? Nope nope nope.

I don't think she'll do any time over this - though that's due more to her political connections than anything else - but she's definitely losing the trust of many in the democratic party, let alone independents.

We may very well have Trump vs Sanders.

The Mayans were just off by one election cycle. :D

I'd like to see a Trump versus Uncle Joe Biden face-off! Two underdog/cinderella boy out of nowhere contestants - a cripple fight of epic proportions. But wait! Here come Hillary flying down on her broom out of a dark, ominous thunderhead! She knocks their heads together like Moe did to the other Stooges then incinerates their comatose bodies with her Godzilla-like fire breath! Now that's how you get young people interested in politics!

One time here (defense contractor) someone accidentally emailed classified project info on the unclassified network (it was a single viewgraph with one or two secret stats called out. Just a couple of numbers). Every single person on that project who was CCed (about 50 people, IIRC), were told to immediately log off. IT came around and confiscated the affected computers, removed the HDs, degaussed them and physically destroyed them. We were given temporary spare PCs to keep working on until IT eventually built us all new ones. The guy was not fired or anything, because it was an honest mistake. But our security department got a warning on our record from the federal government agency in charge of these things, the company got an unscheduled security audit, and we all got mandated security training sessions. Cost the company quite a bit.

Just about all of them do it according to NPR. Government owned systems are subject to search at any time without a warrant while privitely servers require a warrant thus they all try to cover their asses. Seriously, name the Republican or Democratic candidate who has actually held high office and they have done it. It is not illegal though it should be.
