www.steampowered.com Major titles for 33-75% off from now until July 23, with various ridiculous deals that change every day. TIME TO SPEND ALL MY MONEY!
I bought a pack for Super Monday Night Combat. Thinking about getting Heroes of Might and Magic VI. Thinking real hard about it.
I played the first episode. They seem quality. I like everything I've played by telltale so far, so it seems like a good investment.
I got Saints Row the Third. I'm going to run around with giant titties in a dominatrix outfit killing children. If the game doesn't allow killing children, I'll kill old people.
LOL, Saints Row the Third is so stupid but so fun! In one hour I think I blew up more tanks, downed more helicopters and did more skydiving than I would in 5 or 6 hours of any other game like it.
I played the first episode last night, I enjoyed it. What I really liked out it how it started off exactly like the "Twin Pines Mall" scene the first time Doc tests the Time Machine. You're able to pick the same lines Marty said in the movie, but when it changes one of the options is "Hey, this isn't how it happened!"
The rule of thumb for the Steam summer sale: unless you're really Jonesing to play the game now or it's a flash deal, wait until the end of the sale to purchase. I want to play the DayZ mod, but I'm willing to wait and see if Arma II Combined Ops its PCM addon may go on a flash deal.
Yep. Unless it's $10 or less (or 75% off) I generally won't buy it. Everything will go on a flash sale at one point or another.
I went ahead and picked up LA Noir and its DLCs for $7.49 during the flash deal. Heck, that's cheaper than the price of a matinee ticket. Kind of regretting not picking up the Batman Asylum and City games during that flash sale already.
Wow, I got a lot of stuff! Saints Row the Third for 75% off Dead Island for $10 Fallout 3, Thief II, Borderlands, and Assassins Creed for $5 each My boyfriend got me ME2 Still have $7 left out of my $50. Not sure what else to get!
I hate to do it, but I agree with Baba. Those Monkey Island remakes were pretty good. And if you don't like the way it looks, you can instantly change it back to its original form. Really well done.
I think I bought the first one on the xbox, but I bought the bundle of one and two on Steam, probably during a sale. Those games are awesome. Scratch that. Lucas Arts point and click adventures are awesome, and I can't wait for Tim Schafer's adventure game to come out.
Arkham Asylum ended up going on sale for almost $7. Got that So now I have all the major titles I wanted to get! It'll just take me ALL YEAR to play through them.
You should get the double fine bundle. 10 bucks for Psychonauts, Costume Quest, and Stacking. Psychonauts is worth it alone. (it's my favorite game of all time) edit: $7.50 and it ends in two hours.
I grabbed the THQ Package. I figure $50 is decent for all the DoW II titles and Space Marine, and Darksiders.
