No. Just had this conversation earlier. My sister told her daughter in law (after she unfriended me on facebook) that I’m not really like that, that I’m a very nice person. The thing is, I really am. But, I will also let you know when you are wrong.
Weird. I am always amused by other people’s opinion of me. Never heard anyone say they thought I wasn’t nice. Lots of other nonflattering adjectives, but not nice was never one. Cool.
"Ok, so maybe I don't understand something." The judge's reaction is priceless and so of the defendant's.
If it was a Detroit court... Judge: "Um, your license is suspended, and you're driving..." Guy: "I'm going to the doctor though..." Judge: "Your license is suspended and you're driving." Guy: "So I'm not allowed to go to the doctor?" Judge: "Sure you are, but you're not allowed to drive yourself there." Guy: "How am I supposed to get there then?" Judge: "An Uber, or a cab." Guy: "Ubers cost too much." Judge: "The bus, then." Guy: "Oh hell no, I ain't riding the bus." Judge: "Bond rescinded, turn yourself in." Guy: "What? Why? It ain't like I was going to the weed store, I was going to the doctor. Why can't I go to the doctor." Judge: "Suspended license means no driving, at all." Guy: "Not even to the doctor? That's bullshit." Judge: "Keep it up I'm going to charge you with contempt." Guy: "Man..."
Or get a friend or family member to drive you there or walk or ride a bike or skateboard or hitchhike or hitch a ride via Marty McFly style or change your doctors appointment or ride a horse or anything else, but drive.
