The secret was that we'd figured out a path to building a weapon. We knew that there was a chance that the Germans were working to develop the bomb as well and the Allies launched, basically suicide raids to stop the Germans. The people leading those raids knew why they were there and what they were trying to stop. They had to. Yeah, sure, the average person didn't know that the US was working on an atomic bomb, but they knew that the government had a number of very secret projects, with earth-shaking potential. The Boeing factory workers building the planes which dropped the bombs knew that some shit was up, because not only were the planes different than the other B-29s they were building but the aircrews which would be flying the planes were overseeing the construction process, something that didn't happen all that often. Oh, and during WWII, science fiction author (and Naval Reservist who was working on classified projects), Robert A. Heinlein published a science fiction story that describes dumping radioactive material all over Germany to wipe out the population and end the war. Years later, it came out that the US was considering doing that exact same thing if they couldn't get the bomb to work. Now, back in the 1940s, when it took time for letters to move around the country and phone calls were expensive, it was difficult to piece together what was going on. Now? That shit'd be everywhere in the blink of an eye. And think of the money you could make if you just figured out how to duplicate one thing on the alien ship. How does the government stop anyone from doing that? Say it was a battery the size of a quarter that could power an electric car for a thousand miles. Do you think that Elon Musk would walk away from such a thing? The crazy backstory about how it was "alien technology" would only make him want to build as many of them as he could. He'd crush everyone else in the electric car business and the entire battery industry.

That's a star system half the age of our own. Additionally, and this is key, If the stars have a deficiency in metals, than the solar system (if there was one) would likely also be deficient in metals. Metals are rather important when it comes to developing technology. The less of it you have, the harder it is for your civilization to advance. And it doesn't look like there are any planets around those stars. Lots and lots of scientists out there have access to not only the raw data backing that up, but they also have acess to the equipment to verify the data. It's a little hard to keep scientists quiet about big discoveries like planets, etc. If you'll recall, word was out weeks in advance of the researchers at the LHC publishing their findings that they'd found the Higgs-Boson, and we knew in advance that some big black hole news was coming before the scientists released the first photos of one. Not to mention the same thing happened with the discovery of gravity waves. So to think that scientists are covering up the existence of an entire solar system at the behest of the US government is a bit much.

JFK was killed by Oswald. There is no evidence that has appeared in the last 50 plus years that has survived any basic level scrutiny to advance any theory that JFK was killed by someone(s) other than Oswald or that there was a conspiracy. All the so called new evidence ever produced has been shown to be fake or impossible. Oswald was a troubled person who had a gun, the presidents route since it was published in the days before JFK was in Dallas, and access to a building along that route which was his job location. It's no different than John Hinckley another troubled person who had a gun, the presidents location which was published in the days before Regan went to the hotel, and access to the location which was the crowd waiting to see Reagan.
Yeah, any doubts I had about the Warren Commission Report were erased when I played the modified version of JFK Reloaded. While the original game only let you shoot from Oswald's position, the modified version let you pick from any spot where the other snipers were said to have been located. None of them had the kind of advantage that Oswald did from the Book Depository window. Sure, I never duplicated Oswald's shots when I played from his vantage point, but I was lucky to be able to hit anyone else at all if I fired from one of the other spots. For anyone who decides to play the game (link's at the bottom of the wiki article), once you get tired of trying to shoot JFK, I recommend starting by taking out the driver of his limo. All kinds of fun hijinks happen then. (If the limo comes to a dead stop, then it's a turkey shoot to take out everyone else in the plaza. If it doesn't, then you get to see the passengers bounce around weirdly as the limo goes careening all over the place.)
Yeah, because that video game was basically a forensic simulator of what happened, and the company responsible for making the game put serious effort into not only getting the physics right but also in accurately mapping Dealy Plaza to get everything as close as possible to the actual events. It's a technique that has been used by investigators for a couple of decades now. But hey, don't let science and facts get in the way of your beliefs, man.
Nope. We've been over this repeatedly and you refuse to listen or provide any evidence to back up your claims. Trust me, I've been deep in the conspiracy rabbit holes, and spent thousands of hours reading/listening/watching the stuff produced by the supposed "experts" in the fields. None of it holds up under scrutiny. There's always some key piece of evidence that's being hidden by TPTB, or the promised date of revelation comes and goes with nothing being revealed, or like what Ed Dames did, they make up some story about the world ending any minute and fuck off to some tropical island for a few years, until their money runs out, then they come back with a new scam. Once or twice things like that happening, and you might be able to argue that it's just a couple of bad eggs doing it, but it's not. It's all of them. Every last one of them. Some of them are better at hiding it than others, but it doesn't take much digging before you realize that what they're saying doesn't add up.
