Yeah, if (if) that were to somehow miraculously hold up in court, he's just opened the door to rearrest every J6 person that he openly admitted he didn't bother to individually examine. Of course, he's far too stupid to realize what he is doing. Actually, now a I'm kind of hoping it does. I wouldn't be sad to see the v presidential pardon power severely weakened.
The issue comes down to whether a document can be signed in autopen? I mean, we sign official policy statements in docusign now. Can those be ignored too?
The Trump guys at the market learned about the autopen, courtesy of me this weekend, and I got them to understand how it's a valid and reasonable mechanism to maintain avenues for authorizing policy. I have managed to turn most of them against Donald Trump. Yes, it's because they're now seeing he's targeting them as well, but it's a good first step to realizing that the system they participated in used them for fools, and that they should start questioning who that system wants them to hate, because if they're willing to manipulate them here, on their own voting rights, where else will they manipulate them?
Yep, they've all used it since its inception. Hell, Trump used it to autograph his bullshit merchandise.
This is a pretty good insurance policy against ever leaving office. Now there are hundreds or thousands of people who think their continued freedom depends on Trump remaining in power. Trump starts prosecuting Liz Cheney in December 2028, suddenly thousands of people are *highly* incentivized to overthrow the government to keep Trump in power. He’s building a private army.
