The episode "The Return of Starbuck" was good. The rest, well, not so good.

If they remake the original Battlestar: Galactica right they wouldn't need to make Galactica: 1980.

Why don't they remake GALACTICA 1980?

We have to wait until 2080.

Remake Galactica 1980 so that they work behind the scenes to help improve Earth technology to help them fight the Cylons. Then, in the year 1987, NASA launches the last of America's deep space probes. In a freak mishap, Ranger 3 and its pilot, Captain William "Buck" Rogers are blown out of their trajectory into an orbit which freezes his life support systems. Galactica flashes forward in time for some reason and meets up with Buck Rogers soon after his return to Earth 500 years later.

It made sense at the time since both series were created by Glenn A. Larson.

From a fanfic perspective, BR25 and Firefly take place within a couple decades of each other.

That was one hell of a space battle, I don’t understand why Dayton doesn’t like it.
