If you miss a day, you have to start over, and Ancalagon is in charge for that much longer.

    Please, think of the children.

The short answer is yes. They are both theropods.

T-Rex is also closer chronologically to a chicken than to stegosaurus.

Fuck Pluto. As for derp, I demand that each strain get its own thread. That should be about 175 distinct threads from this one. Get thee to work, Bickendan!

I think this is the first time in the history of the Red Room that a cladogram was posted.

Yes, that was confusing as a child. I've never looked into it in any depth, actually.

    An actual on-topic post:

I remember the days when you couldn't keep up with Red Room threads, there were so many postings going on. Now, sometimes 30 minutes or more lapse between posts.

I don't blame Ancgulflowtex as the decline started prior to their hostile takeover. :sigh:

I should have been more clear, for the sake of completeness. Both chickens and T. rex are theropods, which means they derived from a common ancestor, but doesn't mean the relationship is necessarily super close. The cladogram doesn't really show the degree of relationship at a measurable scale; that is, you couldn't compare the sauropod/prosauropod relationship against the theropod/bird relationship.

See, this is what I love about the Red Room. A thread can start out with Stupid and evolve into a detailed and informative discussion of dinosaurs.

Can you imagine the size of a drumstick?

Although I wonder how the carnivory/scavengivory would affect the taste. Apparently I'm not the first.
