Hasn't been cancelled (yet) but as you've indicated, that only means they're not airing any episodes for the moment. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/05/22/tlc-pulls-19-kids-counting-lineup_n_7423224.html http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/tlc-pulls-19-kids-counting-797638 http://time.com/3894697/tlc-19-kids-josh-duggar/
Too bad Huckabee can't give the same leeway to gay people as he does child molesters and people who cover up children being molested.
But that's the pattern with these things. The network announces they're pulling the show while they "investigate" (ie wait to see how big the shit storm gets) and then cancel the show when they think it won't make too much of a news story (as they don't want to remind people they're the ones who made these dicks famous to begin with). Saying it's been "pulled" but not cancelled is to 'Terry Schivo' the program. What's really going to be interesting is that the contracts for these kinds of shows generally have a "morality" clause of some kind and this could put the Duggers in violation of that clause. Depending upon how it's worded, not only would it mean an automatic cancellation of the show, but the network could demand compensation from the Duggers.
The two stupidest Facebook comments I've seen so far (with grammar and spelling fixed to make them intelligible, if not intelligent): "Every time someone gains popularity someone comes along to trash them. Leave them alone. It has been done to Bill Cosby too I feel this is a tragedy. LEAVE THESE PEOPLE ALONE. Get the people that rape & kill." I suppose she is correct that Cosby and Duggar didn't rape and kill. And the rapists who don't kill their victims afterward, well, honestly, are they that big a problem? "He was a teenager. Isn't this what teenagers do? Why were these girls sleeping? Where did it happen? More info needed before judgment." The little sluts, trying to sleep in their own house. What were they thinking?
Oh, and I want to remind everyone that the official ad slogan for Arkansas is "The Natural State. Not sayin' anythin', jus' sayin'.
Note I might've overstated how wealthy that particular area it but it is strictly upper middle class by any reasonable standard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tontitown,_Arkansas
Amazing how being a Christian is a free pass for those engaging in absolutely despicable conduct. Of course, we're talking about the "right kind" of Christians.
Reported somewhere other than their self-serving statements? Seems kind of odd to me that they would keep it such a closely guarded secret and then blab it right out in the very early stage of potential courtship.
Saudi Arabia has even more wealthy people. That doesn't keep it from being a backwards, medieval, theocratic shithole.
And keep in mind, that "wealthy" area (that is actually middle class) has about 2,000 residents. It's an enclave of not desperately poor, but hardly one of the wealthiest places in the country.
In Arkansas, having electricity and running water is filthy stinkin rich. Upper middle class must mean having six rusted out cars on blocks on the lawn unlike those paupers with only five.
No JEB almost never looks like he wants to be anywhere in my opinion. I never took him to be the gregarious glad handler like George W. Bush. He seems more cerebral.
