Had to look the Duggars up, and if it was the oldest sisters, then these are the ones he finger banged and copped a feel off of.

I'm surprised that anyone is surprised.
When your sex-ed is "Jesus", your birth control is "Jesus", and your whole neighborhood is your family tree, how can incest NOT happen?
I'm amazed there aren't Duggars with arms sticking out of their heads, and ones with fly eyes.
Shit...maybe there are, and they hide 'em.

My wife watches this show and the creepiest thing I ever saw was when the pedophile Josh got married. In the car on the way to the hotel after the wedding him and his new wife were listening to a book on tape about how to have sex for the first time. Sick to now know he had plenty of practice banging girls.

We know that, but the real issue is one of censorship. They fall in the camp that honestly believes that rape causes "self-abortion". They were heavily home schooled. They had acounta-bila-buddies. They lobbied heavily to solve the nation's energy crisis by burning every book that did not name either Jesus or one of them as the author. They were totally cocooned and yet, Joshua Duggar was committing incest and child predation. They embrace an ignorance we would call dangerous. Now he confessed to a crime and we know he is dangerous. I am so appalled! Over at People, all the "Good Christians" are crying, " Where is your sense of forgiveness?" Where is the forgiveness for Up-Chuck Manson? Fine, for give the Shithead. Guess what? He still ain't getting out of the cage, evah.

She's pretty much right. I've seen the specials before it became a show and the kids don't interact with anyone outside of the Quiverful religion--which is the only way they could live such a life and not want to escape.

" If the abused was not at fault..." That right there, indicates that they KNOW it was a crime, otherwise they would call them, " The accusers". If they have acknowledged they were abused, they have all but admitted a crime took place.

It's disgusting that they consider the option for the abused to be at fault. :wtf:

There is a large and growing body of evidence that such a mind birth control program leads to a much higher incidence of abuse.

    What about number eight?

No physical abuse or mighty in spirit? So it's better to be closer to God while being abused. That there is a massive crock of shit. As long as you can stay close to God being abused is fine.

That right there, an act of abuse means that the victim is not at fault. But their doctrine or whatever the fuck you want to call it allows for the victim to be at fault is totally fucked up.

And further in on the "If the abused was not at fault", there has to be understanding and wisdom from it?

Holy fucking shit.... someone could literally go on free fall for gang bang with the daughters against their will. And then all the person has to say is "I'm sorry, the devil made me do it, forgive me Jebus." And they're good to go?

And the worst part about it, you have fucks like Poodle and Dayton who most likely see it the same way. It only matters whether or not God forgives.

The glaring flaw in their reasoning is that sexual abuse such as touching or fondling might not damage the body at all, while the psychic and emotional damage is likely to be severe.

Turns out Jim Bob Duggar had something to say about rape and incest during his unsuccessful (thankfully) bid for the US Senate back in 2002.

I look forward to Josh's execution... for Jesus.

The whole point of these cults is to dominate the lives of the members to such a degree that going against the cult leader is unthinkable. To effect this cults always seek to completely isolate their victims from all outside influences so that the cult leader is the unquestionable supreme leader

That need for isolation and dominance over the victims is why they push home school, exclusion of friends or family which are not in the cult, and numerous other isolation measures. In fact, this very exclusion creates dependence upon the cult and it's leader and if someone does dare to ask questions or say something the cult leader dislikes one of the first things they use to "punish" the questioner is social exclusion removing them from the only group they have ever know, I.E. the cult. This becomes a warning to others who are thinking of daring to question the cult leader ("Don't do that or you too will lose everything you have ever known") and it removes that person's influence over the other cult members.

This is classic cult behavior and many, many, many of these fringe evangelical groups make wide spread use of it.

Well, it isn't really surprising that a sex offender writes "educational material" which tries to excuse sex crimes.

Forgiveness by God and man in no way means a person should escape punishment under the laws of the state.

I've known of murderers who I thought probably were truly repentant and forgiven yet I still advocated their execution.

Unfortunately, I've seen too many comments from people whose stance is more along the lines of "God has forgiven him ... so LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!"

As anticipated, the depth of the rabbit hole is ever increasing
so while naive and gullible Christian fans run around defending Josh, no one is banging the drum for the obvious truth that in all likelihood the victims got corrected, not counseled. Talk about the report "re-victimizing" my ass, the girls have never stopped being victimized.

Yes, well, people with money are having a slightly different reaction. Three big advertisers have told TLC (which stands for Touching Little Children, I guess) that if the show comes back, they don't want anything to do with it. http://m.tmz.com/#Article/2015/05/2...ens-choice-hotels-josh-duggar-molestation-tlc

And that pretty much wraps it up for the show. :bailey:

I think one of the creepy aspects of the TV show is that Jim Bob is always taunting his kids by making moves on Michelle. It's like he constantly reminds them we have sex all the time! But you can't have sex until I arrange your marriage to some Bible thumper.

The funny thing is, I've heard it's not uncommon for teens barely out of high school to get married in certain Christian circles just for the purpose of having sex....which completely misses the point of every other aspect of marriage.

Not surpringly, most couples of this sort also get divorced quickly too. :jayzus:
