Dayton could use a few hits. He also could stand to stop hitting his wife. Half his posts amount to him hitting himself in the balls and telling the world how great it feels. Come to think of it, that's pretty much the other half of his posts as well.
Dayton was almost seduced into having premarital sex one time. William Shatner and Lady Gaga have reenacted this incident for us: He would have choked her as well, but no one ordered him to.
Shit, are you guys going to make me do all the work? There's gotta be a ton more Daytonisms out there...
This is a thread to highlight Dayton3's best posts, not yours. You'll get your own thread soon enough.
Sometimes I think Dayton is just trolling or playing a character. The idea that people like him actually exist is too horrifying to accept.
Oh, they exist. There are a whole lot of them too. I dare say that most of the people I know have similar ideologies and theologies.
Oh, I know from personal experience that many people like him really exist. And everything seems to indicate that he is just as honest and open as he could be: He really and truly believes the things he says. That, in fact, is part of why I got in trouble as a mod at TBBS: I maintained that he was not a troll, but simply holding very openly and aggressively to extremely offensive opinions, and I wasn't willing to accept the definition of trolling as "loudly defending offensive opinions." I have never seen anything over the years to change my mind on that assessment.
He brings it upon himself, really, and never learns from the past. At all. Many of us here have been trolled with personal information that we've shared either in the RR or elsewhere and have learned what to share and not share. Dayton's had someone online send posts from WF to his fucking job, and he still gives out his business like a broken candy machine.
Two Americas indeed. Or rather, two worlds -- not separated by political boundaries, but existing in every locale side by side: (a) The Developed World, that embraces humanism, scientific rationality, freedom of thought, and rejects superstition and traditional authority. and (b) The other world.
My first memories of Dayton include his comments about the death toll from Katrina not being so bad. I think he got banned from TBBS for that.
Yes. The clowns at the TrekBBS freaked out when I pointed out that the projected death toll from a Hurricane strike on New Orleans just two years earlier was something like 6-12,000 killed. Compared to that, 2,000 is definitely much, much better than expected.
