... parts 1 and 2. Yes, it was a dare. Yes, there were drinks other than mineral water involved. Yes, I had both on my XBMC for some reason. Holy crap weasel. If there was a love child between the SAW movies and the Spanish Inquisition this would be it. If you think you're a veteran in the fine subgenre of ultra-torture porn I dare you. I double dog dare you. Some things cannot be unseen, some ideas cannot be forgotten. Just to break it down: The first one is kind of artsy and not very graphical. The centerpiece is one sick idea. The second one, however... is still artsy in some fashion. The whole setup leaves a lot of room for interpretation, but in the end it's pure, graphical torture for the viewer. If you're willing to expose yourself to this, go to the usual places and them. Because, first of all, not worth the money. Second, there is no uncut DVD. Just to put it into relation: usually cuts are one or two minutes for extremely violent movies to get an 18+ rating. Part 2 got cut by 18 minutes. Usually I don't recommend food with movies, but you might want to prepare a nice chocolate pudding. You know, just for shits and giggles.
"FEED HER!!! FEED HER!!!" And then "I'm sorry, I'm sorry.", while he's shitting into her mouth. Comedy gold, it doesn't get any funnier than that.
Back during the Iraq war I watched a couple of those beheading videos. I refuse to watch any more. Do yourself a favor, if you don't have to watch something horrific and offensive....don't. Spare your brain. There are enough atrocities in the real world to go around.
Beheading videos are real. HC is make-believe. "Horrific", and "offensive", are moralistic judgements that don't apply to play-pretend. I shouldn't have to explain this adults in the 21st century.
It has two out of three of those, replace Battlestar Galactica with pure comedy and that's why it's so good.
I'm kind of a Shiraz whore but I wouldn't watch this movie for an entire case of it. Well, maybe an entire case.
Is it your contention that fiction can't be offensive, or horrific, or immoral? I found the first of these films surprisingly tame, but the idea that one is not entitled to make judgments seems to me a much worse one than the judgements themselves.
You'd really have to go some to make an "immoral", movie. Maybe one where there was a casting couch, or dirty deals under the table, or something like that. If so "The Lonely Lady", qualifies. That's a boring awful piece of shit, the star was fucking the financier, it's about a woman that fucks her way to the top, and nothing was learned by anyone.
So let's say I make a movie promoting racial supremacy. Or child abuse. I think those would be very immoral. I can think of lots of films that are such.
Do you think posts by wordforge trolls are immoral? I think they're just stupid. I say, go ahead and let the bigots express themselves so we know who they are.
So do I. But they're still bigots. You appear to be conflating this kind of judgment with a call for censorship.
With a movie you always know: no matter how horrific the things on screen are, when the camera light goes off, everybody gets up and grabs a beer. May be disgusting to the max but in the end it's fake. The beheaded are just dead. Nope, I don't want to see that. See my thread in the RR.
