Surprised there's no thread for this. Anyway, I watched the first episode today. I really like Clone Wars a lot. It got better over the course of the series. I have full confidence that this show will do the same. The first episode was really intriguing. My two favorite moment was the pure shock when it wa when the Jedi character ( I forget his name.) whips out his lightsaber and the imperial officer realizes that not all Jedi are dead. The other moment is when the Stormtrooper asks him about it and he gets kicked off the bridge. Solid episode indeed.
Hot damn, the first episode was good. Cool story, decent cgi animation and voice acting. I thought it was better than the Clone Wars cartoon. At least so far.
According to IMDB, SW:Rebels is supposed to premiere (at least here in the States) on this coming Friday, October 3rd. Here's a NY Times article about this nuSW show: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/28/a...-rebels-emulates-the-trilogy-of-old.html?_r=0
Ok, so I, um acquired it. When you saw it did it had audio problems? It seems to have an audio glitch ever 30 seconds or so.
I acquired it the same way you did, I believe, and it had a few blips, but not every thirty seconds. It was only a few here and there. It was 720p quality, but pretty good quality.
So I just watched the third episode that featured our two favorite droids. The episode was very cool. There was some character development and story development. As mentioned, R2 and 3PO are featured and play a pretty good role. I really like how they handled R2 and 3PO and 3PO's memory wipe. Nice to know that R2 does indeed retain his memory and is beginning to play a bigger role. This episode gives a hint at where the show is heading and how the rebellion will form. So far, so good.
