I just want to say one more thing because maybe this was just a new York thing. I have been hearing about Sharpton for all of my life. He was the go to black guy everyone went to when they wanted to say how bad black people are because even a lot of black people were anti Sharpton because he made such a racket. It is just old racism. I don't think al was that bad when it came to exploitative dicks in New York. We had Trump to compete with back in his prime, and Giuliani was mayor. it's a joke! Let me explain it.....many Hispanics (mostly Mexican here in Georgia) perform manual labor, roofing houses for example. Reverend Al said respict. "Spic" is (or was) a catch-all term for Hispanic. Okay, admittedly maybe not the funniest joke, but if it came from a Hispanic comic you would find it hilarious. By the way here is a picture of human skin - maybe when you and anyone else deeply offended by a harmless joke grow some, you can see human skin in the flesh (no pun intended!). Anyway I didn't realize Reverend Al is "off limits" and that making a light hearted joke about something he said = being a racist. I was not joking about Reverend Al, I was joking about what he said. If anyone else (yes even Trump!) made the same spelling mistake I would have made the same joke. But because Reverend Al is black, I must be making fun of him.
