What the "Howcome they get tested?" whiners don't understand is that these people play to huge audiences, and the odds of their (A) catching it from someone in the crowd and (B) spreading it to other celebrities who spread it to other large audiences, and so on are far more likely than those of someone who works in an office with a dozen people.

They're a vector. And because so few people can be tested - particularly in the U.S. of Drumpf - it's important to monitor those who have greater exposure.

It's worth pointing out that Tom Hanks' family were in Australia and were tested there. Irbis is a UK citizen and resides there.celebs stateside aren't being tested in any greater numbers than the rest of the public.

Kathy Griffin is in isolation because she might have been exposed to it, but is unable to be tested.

Not sure where to put this, but Leonard Nimoy would have been 89 years old today. Given his COPD, he'd have been among the most critically at risk.

Hoax. She was never in a COVID19 isolation ward, not without a COVID19 positive test.

Also, she had a stomach infection and didn't have any COVID19 symptoms.

You can disagree all you want, but those are facts. She's getting called out for it all over the place.

I have no faith in any news reporting around her or by her in this case. No ER doctor is going to say it is Pence's fault there are no tests. Also, I am pretty sure the staff is not going to discuss things like procurement with a patient. Her statement becomes just the normal complaint a patient has because they do not know the reasons they are not getting tested.

On the other hand, how the fuck does the internet know where she has or has not been? Sorry, but everything about her that we see is some dipshit on the internet saying things because no one would ever be allowed to see her medical records to say that they are false. That is simply not given to people, and most of the people saying they know processes have no idea what this particular hospital staff decided on that particular day in that situation. None of them are privy to that information and anyone who says they know is lying. We can all guess or assume what things are, but none of us have that truth no matter how much we purse our lips like the president.

My thought would be that the hospital put her in some sort of limbo area that is for covid determination and segregation while they determine what problems she does have. That may not be pure quarantine, but I would imagine they have some sort of system in place to try and direct flow with covid in mind. Kathy and her detractors have no way of properly expressing what those methods are, nor are they going to be particularly informed of the procedures.

Getting called out by the liars who have a melt down every time she does something does not make things the truth. So I would have to disagree with the assesment by some guy on the internet.

The proper answer as to what happened to her is we do not exactly know because her medical history is not shared with us, and she is not a reliable source.

There is a difference between virus and bacterial infection. In other words if antibiotics cleared up his condition it probably was not a virus.

Still, that is just a technical thing.

You're probably right but I'm still sympathetic to some complaints that the U.S. is testing NBA players and not first responders. Ideally everyone should be tested but before we get to that point the pandemic will probably be over anyway.
