Needs to be a national database of people requiring extra scrutiny before letting them walk away with a gun from a store. Anyone should be able to add people to the list. Yes this includes abused spouses fearful of their partner. Guns are not a solution to anything.
Kudos for the parents kicking him out of the house. I'm sure they are going to get a lot of unjustified crap for that decision.
"unjustified crap" is right. Damned if you do, damned if you don't when it comes to parenting. IMHO I blame one person for neckbeard's behavior - neckbeard. I can't figure this guy out. He feels terrible because he's struggling with what he thinks is a "sex addiction" - I get that. So instead of relying on faith/god to help him slay his personal dragons and keep him away from temptation he just kills & injures the temptations (and innocent bystanders near the massage parlors) with intentions of killing even more until the police caught up with him. BTW what is neckbeard wearing in that picture? It looks like a custom car floormat. Some kind of tactical vest I suppose.
This is Georgia - we have a 3 minute cooling off period while they run your background check. Anyway as for cooling off/waiting periods here is a good study on it. Side note the waiting period and background check for a silencer is FOREVER. Go figure! The Effects of Waiting Periods | RAND
His parents might have let him back into the house after three days of living on the lawn. He needed a gun now when he was homeless, crazy, and humiliated. It worked out great for the guntards, they got rid of a bunch of asians. It is not like white people died, so what is the loss to the right? This is why the solution might actually be more guns in the hands of some brown people who we hire to kill every white motherfucker who has a neck beard.
You do not just kick your feral son out into the public. Especially in areas where fuctarded gunshops will arm him. We really need to track down and arrest whoever sold that guy a gun. Drug dealers and criminals would have enough common sense not to sell a gun to someone who looked like that.
Ehhh.... was he paying for his own pornography? Was he paying for his own happy endings? Was he jerking off loudly with his bedroom door open? If neckbeard was paying his own way, it's a shitty move for his parents to throw him out when he obviously needed some guidance or counselling or a healthier environment. If mama and papa neckbeard were funding his lifestyle, why not just stop giving him money and change the wifi password? We can argue forever about whether nature or nurture made him such a creep, but I can't say his parents are completely blameless.
Two whites and a hispanic were shooting victims , unless the hispanic was classified as a white if only to distinguishing them from the asians. Regardless the hispanic lived (I think) so six of the actual deaths were non-asians. But there were some people chomping at the bit to say neckbeard was a white supremacist. That failed, and after thousands of people explained that the reason he "targeted" asians was that the vast majority of massage parlors that offer sex are run & staffed by Asians, most people have given up on the racial aspect of the killings. Weird but if neckbeard had shot them during armed robberies nobody would have really thought much about this.
You're just obsessed with putting people in the "correct" boxes, aren't you? As for why the killings were racially motivated, check out what the suspect himself said. Idiot.
I picked up some sushi on my way home from work tonight and the Korean-American owner of the place where I go expressed worry to me about the anti-Asian incidents that have been happening. We've known her for years (our kids went to high school together) and her restaurant isn't terribly far from the noodle place that got vandalized last weekend.
Daoyou Feng. Delaina Ashley Yuan. Paul Andre Michels. Soon Chung Park. Hyun Jung Grant. Suncha Kim. Yong Ae Yue.They ranged in age from 33 to 74. Seven were women, six of them of Asian descent.
There's a Chinese place near work that I sometimes grab food from on my way home if I'm too tired to cook. They closed for a month or so when the lockdowns first started up a year ago. A short time after they opened back up, I went in to get something to eat, and the guy who runs the place with his wife and son practically ran out to shake my hand when saw me come in. I don't know how long they'd been opened back up, but it probably wasn't long. It surprised me how excited he was to see me again. The other Asian (Japanese/Thai) restaurant that's really close to my place and work was also closed for a month or so, and while they've opened back up, they really take the precautions seriously. So much so, that it disturbs you. You walk into the entryway and they have an intercom system set up, with a pile of menus and hand sanitizer. You order via the intercom, stick your money/card through a slot, and then step back outside while you wait for your food. They bring it out, set it in the entryway, and wave at you to come and get it. They're wearing masks and gloves, and set your food in bags on the table. It's absolutely safe, but it makes you realize just how many other places in the area aren't taking the same level of precautions.
You do realize that saying it is ok to shoot asians as long as you mix a few white people in there is probably going to endanger your life? I hope that future shooters know that it is all ok as long as you off a couple of white people to pretend you are an equal opportunity killer. You have some really sick moral values.
This place makes you wear a mask, servers all wear gloves, tables inside are spaced apart. The owner still hugs me when I stop in for a to-go order, though, and I don't mind a bit.
one thing that pisses me off is the fact in this whole shebang is that there are people stupid enough to not understand that Korea/Japan ARE NOT CHINA! Another thing is even if the Chinese in America are indeed Chinese (duh) they had zero to do with creating the virus. It reminds me of the guy in Arizona who killed some Hindu wearing a turban right after 9/11. If I were the judge I'd have to point out the fact that turbans aren't a big thing in the part of the sandbox the terrorists came from. They wear those tablecloth deals with the band around them. Knee jerk reactions and ignorance make a helluva cocktail!
The point being that whenever there's a mass shooting your first go-to is "Let's check the ethnicity of the victims"? Yeah, we got that. Years ago.
I think someone missed the ironic point of using a traditionally japanese food that americans probably just see as asain over all. I want to know why it is that I can get sushi in a chinese place but those bastards do not serve any pho soups. Seriously, you serve miso so why do I have to go to the vietnamese place for that shit? Also, why can't I get some pig brains on the side with my rainbow roll?
good point! I think because Americans in general are just more familiar with the dumbed-down "Americanized" version of Chinese food. Japanese restaurants just aren't as common. Thus you might get some sushi and other Japanese items sort of tacked on to the menu of the Chinese Restaurant. Vietnamese food? I may have had a few times. I think there is a Thai restaurant near me that I've visited a few times, but it might be some other type of Asian restaurant.
wow who could have predicted this also shame on everyone for stereotyping Asian women as sex worker masseuses.
