It begins... It's the thread we've all been waiting for! But first, a few words... [YT="Coach Gundy"]somyWIaLqJo[/YT] And now, from Lubbock to Auburn, from Columbia to Tempe, from Stillwater to Southern California, from the jail cells in Athens to the gangsta rap studios of Norman, Oklahoma, and from wherever the hell Francione is spending his millions, the only thing bigger than Les Miles' hat, the only thing Nick Saban fears more than Louisiana Monroe, the thread that will never overlook Appalachian State, the only thing that gets more preseason hype than OU and Texas combined, it's the... 2008 College Football Thread *Don't forget to pour a little out to our fallen homie Techman.
Behold! The Season is upon us! Let all who stand before it tremble with anticipation and dreams of sweet football glory.
In case you were wondering what a real football stadium looks like: Okay, so at the moment we're only Tenth largest (still beat all ya'lls little HS stadiums). We'll have the endzones capped in 5 years, and then in 10 have diverted an underground river and dropped the field an entire level (yeah, that's how fucking badass we are) and have the largest stadium in the nation.
It is pretty sad but he's just trying to be strong and not actually cry... 92,746 of my closest friends agree!!!
Georgia - this year's ESPN-annointed SEC pretender to the throne. A show of hands as to who really thinks the Bulldogs will be playing on Jan. 8, 2009? What was last year's ESPN-annointed joke team? Florida Atlantic or something like that?
ESPN hates OU. Especially after Stoops exposed their SEC bias. Lee Corso needs an extra Depends every Saturday morning when he pees himself in glee predicting the Sooners' downfall.
He probably pees himself with glee every time the Sooners prove him right . . . which is often. OU has been handed a lot of things they didn't deserve including a ridiculous shot at the National Title after losing the conference championship. OU has also been caught cheating and given nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Your persecution complex is ridiculous. Also, Michigan's stadium is totally unimpressive. I know it holds a lot of people but it is boring and weak compared to other large "bowl" stadiums. For an example of a truly intimidating "bowl", see Tennessee.
