That's not to say that uneducated or poor youths aren't easier to convert. It's as if you're saying that every Islamist out there is middle class or better, when the reality is quite the opposite.

That's because not all Muslims are rich - yet. Once they are, they will still be just as prone to radicalism as long as they are believing Muslims who listen to radical imams, if not more so. That's because of the nature of their vision. Their vision is not the same as poor peasants or union members who want equal rights or better pay. Keep your revolutions straight. Not every revolution is socialist, nor is socialism the only driver of revolutions.

In the ISIS vision, coming right out of Islamic dogma, the Muslims are supposed to be in charge. They are supposed to be running the world and making everyone else do their bidding, just as the Prophet said. They are supposed to slay and convert all the infidels and make other people of the book convert, pay a tax, or die. All countries conquered by Muslims must be run according to sharia, and eventually all countries must be conquered by Muslims, because it is their duty to bring God's law and true justice to everyone so that everyone benefits from it.

That this hasn't quite happened is the result of conspiracies by evil Jews and the West, which has turned its back on God and chosen to sin. Since the West is opposed to God, it will be destroyed and the remnants of it will be taught God's truth and the words of the prophet.

The richer they get, the closer they are to achieving their goal, purging the world of infidels and making Jews and Christians bow before them, as they did in the glorious periods of Islamic expansion and dominance when the caliphate ruled and conquered and subjugated all its enemies. They long for those days to return, and getting rich, or less poor, just proves they are on the right track.
