We obviously sparred through the years but I am very saddened to hear this. She was a great sport and a very intelligent woman. I wish her remaining family nothing but the best.

She maintained a good sense of humor against the backdrop of all the crazy and I wish I had gotten to know her better as a real person. I hope that friends and foes alike can be reasonably respectful in her passing.

End of an era, for sure.

Fuck. Margaret was a good friend for a lot of years. We were going to meet up for lunch the last time I was in SoCal, but covid took care of that and we agreed it would have to wait until next time. Godspeed Margaret.

We never met IRL, but she was one of the few people that cared enough to reach out after my mother died.

After the whole Hormone blocker thread went on for a few days--with some Peak Tererun posting--I actually checked Wikipedia to see if she'd passed (I'm morbid and have a lot of free time at work). It's not updated yet but I can't believe she actually died. Hopefully she didn't suffer and was at peace.

I wonder what happened. She never mentioned any major health issues other than really poor vision.

She wasn't super old, so maybe a stroke or something heart related.

One of her last posts mentioned she was getting the Moderna vaccine.
