Dayton's Blue Room Thread

El Chup is being his usual idiot self in there. I'd advise removing his Blue Room access. Couple of the other kids are piling on as well. You might want to do something.

And then he will lawyer ball us all to death. There is an element to what happens in that thread for which Dayton is to blame. Chup and a few others don't behave so well, but Dayton eggs them on. If anything, he is trolling them. Other than needing a bit of refereeing and occasional warnings, I don't see it as being so far out of hand.

Telling people to knock it off is usually enough to get them to back down. Repeated behavior gets warnings. Removing Blue Room access, IMO, requires an egregious act.

Though whether he'll back down or just continue arguing with you has yet to be seen...

If he keeps arguing the point, I'll warn him. If he still feels the need to argue after that, I'd probably suspend his Blue Room access until he calmed down and went through the proper channels. Derailing someone's Blue Room thread repeatedly is enough, IMO, to be locked out of it for a little while while they realize how stupid it is to die on that particular hill.

Have you seen the first five pages of that thread? The comments today are positively civil compared to today.

That said, with Dayton blabbing his own info everywhere, everyone knows he baits, then whines to mods. It's like beating an NES game when you have the Nintendo Power cheat codes given to you within the game.

As for Chup, I say keep his access and if he fights in the Blue Room warn him. same with the others.

ETA: It also would help if we on staff don't fall into the trap ourselves. I admit there's been times I've danced the line, but the best thing would be to not feed either side of trolls.
