I live close to two airports. Such is life in Queens.

I once broke my foot on an outing of the Comparative Literature department of my then-university: a mountain tour which almost wiped out said department completely, with my broken foot being one of the minor damages. Two other colleagues had to be flown out, and they weren't even the worst of the lot. One day, I'll write a book about it, and it'll be comparatively literary and somewhat literal.
