It's not meant to be "ennobling" (odd choice of words). The facts simply are that 1) personal attacks and insults are allowed in the Red Room 2) the rules are the same for everybody, staff included.
Is that the same reasoning you apply when you make personal attacks on others, without prior provocation?
Not sure where I should put this, but Justin Roiland who does the voice of Rick from Rick and Morty, called Osteen's prayer hotline as Rick. The prayer folks get really squirrelly less than 2 minutes in.
