One of the federal big-shot cops on one of the big shows was practically mocking our cops for dragging the river.
"Oh, he's too trained, he's too smart; this is a diversion".
Nope, he was there. Bet the dude doesn't apologize.

No. I will pay to impose consequences for bad acts. Everything up to that point is the burden of the individual and their family.

Go ahead and commit to the idea of subjecting individual rights to majority approval. See what happens.

Yes... I know it's become a totalitarian christo fascist hellhole here over the years that we've increased our limits and conditions on who can own high powered firearms.

It’s not surprising that Clarence Thomas completely botched his Bruen decision. He thought he had struck a major blow against firearm regulation by requiring that any current laws be consistent with historical tradition or analogous laws going back 150 years or more. Turns out, when law clerks started doing the digging they uncovered a mountain of firearm laws going back to the earliest days of the union. The application of his Bruen decision has been a total mess at the state/local level.

oh,we've got'em. they just can't get a gun any easier than anybody else.

and rest assured, we still have plenty of guns too. Just we lean heavier into regulation/certification/prevention.

So, there ARE red flags you consider signs of potential mass shooters?

Does it concern you that a good deal of these types are currently in Congress and the Senate?

Hell, one was just "elected" Speaker.

I'm not dealing in collective pragmatism. That's a path to authoritarian dictatorship. I deal in individual choice and consequence.
