First of all, we're not comparing years. We are comparing Gunn-now to Gunn-10 days ago. Unless you can show that a major shift happened within those ten days, you're just spewing nonsense about this case.

Secondly, Cernovich supports Trump, and Trump spews misogynist bullshit daily and defends rape and harrassment fantasies about once a week. So no, he is not doing the same thing as anyone who opposes rape and harrassment.

But most importantly, you are just perpetuating the myth that opposing a person for condoning rape, harrassment, or in some other cases racism, is the same thing as opposing them for no reason whatsoever. By comparing a nonsensical witch hunt to sensible opposition against actual crimes and political hatred, you are continuing the propaganda that claims it is impossible to avoid raping and harrassing other people. It isn't. There is one definite and clear line, namely consent. Insistence on that line is not public hysteria, nor an invitation to the same.
