In about two minutes I found his new school, new address and phone number and a local sports site where coaches and fans of the region's school sports congregate to talk about the games and coaches. Even people there were questioning if he was really a coach or not. One guy seemed to be a fan but I wouldn't call him popular there either. I don't know why he thinks it's hard to find him and what he's saying on the internet. The only good thing is his arrogance means that he will probably end in a massive personal fail of epic proportions...if he ever actually gets off his duff and runs at all that is.
Christ, i had a wee look. Its frightening seeing some of the posts he makes on other sites. As much as id like to quote them, we all know that thats exactly what he wants
You're talking about Venny. A fanatical fan at a school that I've never worked at nor ever met. He was the one who said after I mentioned my love of reading that "Football coaches have no business reading books". Take that however you like.
Did you have any difficulty at all finding him? I mean, if us average internet denizens have no problem, imagine what professional internet researchers who work for his opposition could dig up!
It took me 10 seconds to find some of his posts at a football site, I didn't bother to dig further. But with the proper motivation, and perhaps a few subscription based services, I'd have his house on Google street view, and more knowledge of his tax returns than we'll ever know about Mitt Romney.
I didn't find the forum for football, but I found various forums and his address in under 30 seconds. Wow hahah, that's uh, kinda scary.
Same as gul, a quick google search brings it up. Hell, google is that clever these days all you need to put in is his name, up comes his town, school etc.
Just imagine any internet researcher or even pissed off parent entered his name and Wordforge or even trekbbs into google!
Several considerations here: 1. Yes, depending on the job or the school, there is a certain level of desperation. Not so much in history but some schools are much more "desperate that others in relative terms in any area. 2. I'm still not at all convinced that the people who interact with him in "real life"sees anything like the same person we see here. In fact, that is probably true of easily a dozen or more others here - some of them by their own admission. 3. while it might be attributing too high a skill-level to him, there's a fairly decent possibility that all this "run for office" shit is nothing more than trolling.
I doubt that his opponents for whatever school board or town council seat he ends up running for will go to the trouble of hiring such researchers.
Why? Anyway, I've found... "As I make a point of telling people, if I had any friends, he would be my best one. " Dayton is one scary individual.
So, BD, is Ghostbusters III like your idea of like the Second Coming or something? Oh, oh, and though you must've missed my very respectful questions about your religion earlier, this one's really important: what are your thoughts about Gozer the Apostate?
