When Will We See the First Trailers for Star Trek: Beyond?

Yes restore the timeline and give us the TOS Enterprise.

I think it would be interesting to have the TOS Enterprise being launched with Captain Robert April in command, shown being turned over to Captain Christopher Pike with George Kirk as his second in command. Have George Kirk step aside to assist his son having just graduated from the Academy with a mission, show a young hot looking Number One becoming Pike's second in command and a newly graduated Spock coming aboard the Enterprise.

At the end feature Kirk promoted to Captain and being handed command of the Enterprise with Spock as his Second in Command.

I make no secret of the fact that to me Greenwoods portrayal of Pike has been one of the best things about the Abramsverse.

They should have done that in the first movie.

J.J. Abrams put too much emphasis on "shaking things up" in the first Abrams movie.

Which it was said was the whole point of the "Spock/Uhura romance".

I dunno, I find the movies pretty easily ignored and I accept it as it's own thing. I personally never hated the break from continuity.

I also see it as pretty pointless to try to revert back to the original timeline. Why bother? Of course it's even more pointless to speculate about a movie that's not even officially in development yet.

Are they rebooting TNG next? He's really gone for the Riker look there.

If he does the Riker maneuver at any time then yes they will be rebooting TNG.

I actually have not seen any of the trailers in full. A piece here and there. After the last one I guess I got into a "meh" state of mind about NuTrek. I'm still going to see it but I've really lowered my expectations.

It is good to see that there is positive reviews about it out there.

This movie is totally worth seeing.

Better on second viewing. Still pretty brainless but a solid action movie.
