I'm not blind, I just understand that correlation does not imply causation. Strange that you so-called Pro Science types don't understand this.

Let's break this down. Even if Trump isn't a Kremlin puppet, you've just elected a man who says "unpresidented". I hope you're fucking proud of yourselves. "No child left behind"? Yeah, the rest of you hang back in the retard cave with them.

This is what happens when you don't listen to Bill Nye, YOU BASTARDS!

I think you’ve hit on one of the reasons they voted for him. Call it the Dubya Syndrome.

that principle, while true, doesn't put a noticeable scratch on the iceberg under discussion.

I wonder what some of the people on here would do if it came to light that the CIA and FBI are both lying and attempting to undermine the President-elect. :diacanu: Here we have "anonymous sources" claiming something without any proof to support it (even pizza-gate has those hacked emails), and yet everyone is just going right along with it like it's the gospel truth or something. The American public is being manipulated into a war again, just like prior to Iraq II, only this time instead of Iraq, the Democrats are picking a fight with Russia.

Anonymous sources? :wtf: It's James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, and the heads of half a dozen private cyber security companies.

So they've actually named names? Okay, have they shown any proof, or are they still in "no, really, take our words for it" mode?

Where have you been for the last week and a half? They've all come out and said it publically. :wtf:

The hacks were carried out by two groups, Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear, both with known connections with the GRU.

I'm just glad that Meltdown 2016 isn't by any stretch over. The knee-jerk butt-hurt (quite an anatomy lesson kids!) is morphing into a full-body paralysis of all encompassing soul-draining pain.
Hey, better you than me bitches! My only hope is even more Trump shit-storms are in the forecast because watching liberals do their sack-cloth and ashes thing (complete with crocodile tears) is comedy gold. Seriously no matter who is president our nation will be just fine, but when liberals do this you just gotta love em'.

Save that I don't think FBI director Comey's a bigger backer of the Clintons. And unlike Gulf War 2.0, we don't have foreign intelligence services coming out and saying, "We're not as confident as the Bush administration seems to be" like many of them did.

Wait a minute. You lost me. What was that about "anonymous sources" you were talking about?

At any rate, I don't know about proof. I'm not sure all of the US intelligence agencies go around exposing their proof. Something about tipping off their adversaries about how they figured it out. Trade craft and all that.

CrowdStrike has some pretty strong evidence though.

Let's say we get incontrovertible, undebateable proof that

"The Russians tampered with the U.S. election that undeniably resulted in the loss of Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump"

    So what then?

We aren't going to war over something like this. Nor is that grounds (even if the means existed) to change the results of the election at this late date.

So ultimately what does it matter then?

I'm not convinced the Russian tampering resulted in Clinton's loss. If anything, i'd say Comey's "Wait...we found more emails" eleven days from the election, followed by "nevermind" eight days later had a bigger impact.

    You're right. Who cares?

To be honest, given the U.S. history of trying to manipulate elections in other countries, I don't think the U.S. has much justification to whine.

so...the folks who could not possible continuance the idea of a Clinton presidency because of so called security concerns are asking our intelligence agencies to just dump all their shit on the table no matter what sources or methods are compromised because they are shocked, shocked, that anyone could question the integrity of Vald Putin and Donald Trump?

Talk about a "derangement syndrome." Republicans now respect and trust Putin and Russia more than the do Obama and Clinton.

This isn't the best work for a mashup but it's looking like the national anthem for Trumplandia

Small world! Democrats/liberals disrespect and mistrust Trump more than they do Putin and Russia. You just might have a point there (but wear a hat and nobody will notice).

I loathe Trump and I loathe Putin. As far as I'm concerned both can be dumped into the heart of the sun for all I care.

But Trump is the president elect like it or not (and lots of not there). Putin is a Russian dictator. I do not trust Putin in the least.

    But come on.

Once again, this isn't something even worst case to be rattling sabers over. If we're going to start some kind of conflict, at least have it be over something that actually caused someone to be killed.

I doubt any hacking the U.S. could or would do would be the least bit effective.

What hacking could we do to the Russians that would be adequate and reasonable "pay back".?
