Good question - I haven't lived there for many years, and the part of Wisconsin where I did live had no people of color - way up north BTW hours from Milwaukee. But that said most of the people of color in Wisconsin live in cities/counties run by democrats. Isn't that strange, liberals not taking care of their most loyal and consistent voting block/fan base? Also the state as a whole has voted democrat in the past seven elections. So Wisconsin has had several decades to ensure that their people of color are afforded every opportunity to vote but have dropped the ball time after time? A few more centuries of this and blacks might not be so loyal to the democratic party.

Yes. If they want to claim 600,000 people in Texas don't have documents then I want all 600,000 names of each person. Show the proof and then solve the problem. Seems like there is always 600,000 who can't get ID. It's bullshit from top to bottom from leftist pigs.

I don't think it's a huge stretch to say that a democracy should probably try to make it easier for people to vote, not harder, and that a political party that routinely tries to make it as difficult as possible should be viewed with suspicion.

Almost every country on this planet requires an ID to vote.

If you're an adult and you can't get your shit together to get a proper ID then you're a fucking idiot.

Unless you're very old in which case you should be able to find someone to help you.

There are four years between presidential elections. There is zero excuse to not be able to do what is necessary to register to vote within that time frame.

Leftist's support no ID because it makes fraud that much easier. The dead vote Democrat. The felons vote Democrat. The illegals would vote Demcorat too if they didn't need an ID.

So we can assume that anyone with a job, a driver's license, a social security card card, a bank account, etc. etc. and interacts with modern society on a daily basis will be able to vote. The only people not in the voting loop are those on the fringes of society or otherwise disenfranchised in 2016. BUT WAIT! As older people start passing away (no picture ID, never drove, etc) the amount of people with the documents or skill in getting the right documents increases per capita. So 99 percent of the people who still can't vote in 2016 also couldn't vote in 2012. You see where I'm going with this? They had FOUR YEARS to get the documents (or the concerned democrats to help them get the documents) and still didn't get it done! So why the fuck don't some democrats (the party of the disenfranchised & oppressed) FIND THESE PEOPLE AND HELP THEM? If they are that upset and determined to vote then why did they wait since the last election to say something? Or why don't they pick up a phone (please tell me they don't know how a phone works) and contact the democratic party for help in voting? Damn I don't know if I want another four years of democratic rule - how can they run the country if they can't get a couple of pieces of ID (or correct the documents if that's the case) for their most loyal voters? Fuck having a donkey for a symbol, why not a tank running over the disenfranchised?

I'm all in favor of a national ID that is truly free, automatically issued, and free to replace. However, the people calling for voter ID laws in one breath will denounce a national ID in the next breath.

It's almost as if they didn't want certain people voting.

As evidenced by this article, there are sometimes too many hoops to jump through to get a state ID. And should we really expect people to jump through so many hoops to exercise their right to vote?

Here's the thing. We rag on the US for being the only industrialized country without socialized healthcare. Well, the US is in a small minority of democracies where voter ID is not required, or where this is even an issue. Most democracies in the world require it.

It's true that there are obstacles to getting IDs. The solution is to remove these obstacles, not to forgo ID requirements.
