Illinois has a flat income tax, so how does the city decide what schools get more money? Is it because of sales tax by zip code?

I agree that it would be helpful to see that data.

But the key qualifier here is that the school is underfunded, not that it's predominantly Black.

Okay, it's property tax. So you're saying Black people have the ability to say what schools the money from property taxes in Chicago go to? And if they do, they underfund their own schools because they have more important priorities?

Or more specifically, underfunded schools that are predominantly Asian.

1. Because they continue to vote against their own interests because Democrats have somehow convinced a lot of them that they care about them. Also, the break down of the family unit and poverty are contributing factors.

2. I've already explained this twice before it's growing up in poor neighborhoods, usually without a positive male role model and ending up joining gangs and selling drugs which results in cycles that perpetuate themselves because your homie told you to go ahead and nut up in that girl, you ain't gotta take care of the kid if she gets pregnant. Those bad cultural practices. It's not just blacks that do this though.

1. No I don’t think blacks do better under Republican controlled areas, but they might. I think they should seek out third party options, everyone should.
2. I think the answers you seek don’t come down to systemic racism, though I don’t deny that racism does play a factor, I think it comes down to poverty, class and social status.
