That baby's doomed. What are they going to do for baby formula and diapers? Once Lori was out, there's no real way to care for that baby.
Her name is Carol. And you don't need diapers. I'm sure they can scrounge up infant formula. It's probably one of the few things not wiped clean out of stores since no one thinks they can eat it. What I want to know is they were on the run while she has been pregnant why haven't they been looking for formula already? They should have a supply of it and baby stuff (whose going to raid Babies R Us for baby bottles?).
Maybe they did have supplies and such on the farm, but when Season 3 began it looked like they just had the clothes on their backs.
True. But they've gone through winter on the run. And that was most of Lori's pregnancy. IIRC Andrea told Merle it had been seven months since the attack on the farm. Within that seven months they should have picked up some items since we see they had some way of getting gas to keep those cars running.
That's a good point. Two years later, the fuel ought to be going bad about that time and the cars will stop running. Not like you can put something like Sta-Bil into gas that has already broken down to bring it back together.
I thought that gas in cars was good for a long, long time? At least that's been my experience dealing with salvage yards.
It separates, especially with the ethanol based files. It also forms a lacquer. This applies to diesel as well.
If we stick with reality, yes, gasoline's going to go bad pretty quick. The people in this world have a bigger problem they don't know about, though. The water in the spent fuel pools at nuclear power plants is eventually going to evaporate.
Ok, I have been having issues with my DVR, and somehow missed recording Ep 2 ("Sick") of this season. I've got Eps 3 & 4, and the series recording seems to now be working, but I don't want to miss an entire ep--especially one where they meet new (non-Walker) people (the prisoners, the Governor, etc...). But I cannot seem to find Ep #2 anywhere online in order to watch it. Perhaps my Google-Fu is weak. Can anyone help me? Also, if you have a source, please list it in a Rep comment, or in a PM, as I don't want to have to read potential spoilers throughout this thread before I'm caught up on the episodes. Thanks!!!
Thanks, but apparently not necessary... (see below) Reading comprehension has it's benefits...you should try it! They are up to Ep #5 next week. I'm missing Ep #2!!! Hence they've already shown the rerun of Ep #2 right before Ep #3...several weeks ago! Anyhoo, Charter On Demand to the rescue! I apparently can watch it for free on Charter channel #1 anytime before Nov 20th!!! Woot!
SPOILERS FOR NEXT EPISODE..... [?=SPOILERS][wYT=Governor's daughter]zRbV2Zi3FIg[/wyt] It's a international promo so it's filmed off of a TV but around the 32 second mark you can clearly see a young girl Zombie being held by the Governor. Also I read that in the opening moment of the episode we see her. And looking at the promo carefully it looks like Michonne finds the pens used to house the Zombies for the Arena.[/?]
This show is really goddamn good. Can't believe just how much a turn around it's been since the second season.
Maybe they are still looking for her and when they find her they plan to put her in the third hole. It is interesting that she hasn't turned up yet. This prison doesn't seem that big and she couldn't have gone that far.
We saw (in a previous episode) someone breaking into the prison. My money's on Carol being with whomever that is.
I'm pretty sure it was the prisoner who broke in but I can accept that he had some help and we are being misdirected to believe it was him.
There were visible "remains" of T-Dog and, presumably, Lori's body is safe from zombies where it's at.
Um...you didn't catch the bit where.. I didn't catch it the first time either , until it was explained in "The Talking Dead", after, and I had to watch it again.
