Then I think you have to seriously face the question of why you favor restrictions. "No abortion except in cases of rape or incest" is a logically indefensible position. If you truly believe it's murder, than there should be no exceptions for rape or incest, because after all, we don't give crime victims a free pass to go out and kill someone -- especially not someone who's a third party, not the perpetrator. And if you don't believe it's murder, then why restrict it at all?
Because eliminating the vast number of abortions is politically undoable without those exceptions. I'll take what I can get. If allowing 50,000 abortions a year is necessary (repulsive as that is) in order to eliminate 750,000 abortions a year, then I would call it a victory.
