Oh, and @El Chup and @RickDeckard are generally completely wrong on how audiences will receive a film, so based on their comments in this thread I'm guessing this movie will be a smash hit with moviegoers. The critics may be harsher, however.
Show me one post where I've accused Dinner or gturner of being racist? and ..., I'm pretty sure you've done so yourself on more than one occasion. So, I don't even know where you're going with this.
well, since he started with accusing me of being sexist, then included me in a comment about racism, the error is not unexpected.
Yeah, but he was going after me for defending you. In essence, he was saying that our agreement in many areas was clouding my position. But if that were how it worked, I'd have to defend him, too, since he and I also agree on many issues.
You could just have the guts to apologise to me for not reading what I said properly. Nobody made any comment about you making accusations of racism. Now you're wriggling in a manner worthy of gturner instead of just admitting you messed up.
Oh god, just work up some tears with an onion, and kiss him on the forehead, or he'll be like this all night.
I'm not a huge Ghostbusters fan, but I ordered this for my wife last night. https://www.shirtpunch.com/lady-ghostbusters.html
Listened to a Q&A last night, and Theodore Shapiro, the composer on "Spy", is doing the music, and there'll be multiple versions of the Ray Parker theme throughout. No word on pop music. Original had Ray Parker, second had Bobbie Brown, be nice to have special tracks for the third.
I'm gonna assume he meant better than most typical chic flick comedies. That said, i remember that film running particularly long for a comedy flick. If they'd gutted like, 10 minutes it would've been even stronger.
http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/if-not-ghostbusters-when-is-it-okay-to-remake-movies Couldn't have said it much better than this.
I'll tell you when it's okay - instead of taking good movies and making crappy remakes hoping to cash in on the nostalgia factor, why not take crappy movies and making good remakes of them?
