    Think About it: Gore/Clinton 2008

    Clinton/Edwards 2016

    Edwards/Richardson 2024

    Richardson/Obama 2032

    Obama/Knight 2040

Man, I like the sound of that.........

That would make Clinton 77 by the time she left office, Edwards 71, Richardson 93, and Obama 87.

How many two term VPs have we had that went on to serve two terms as President, serving a full sixteen years in the top two offices in the land?

But not 16 consecutive years in the two offices, even if he'd finished.

As far as I can tell from a quick scan of Wikipedia's list of vice presidents, no one has ever done it.

I can't think of anyone either, though if not for Perot, Bush I likely would have.

Meanwhile America has fallen into Civil War as people are tired of socialism being rammed down their throats by almost 32 years of socialist Democrats.

Obama and Knight are in the White House when it becomes a smoking crater.

The others are rounded up and shot Mussolini style just for the hell of it. Every living Democrat within the last 32 years is executed. All the hardcore socialists and communists are shot as well. The rest of the liberals are given a choice: Get with reality or get a bullet in the head.

Hey I like the sound of that too! :soma:

Hasn't Gore been very categorical about not running? And isn't it getting a bit late for him to change his mind?

    Why not?

The trick would be getting the nomination. If he actually got the nomination, surely he could get the equivalent of everyone who voted for him in 2000, which would obviously be more than having just a chance of winning.

And while I don't know if he could throw elbows like Clinton or even Obama and Edwards, I think that he could be a decent alternative to people who think that Hilary is unelectable/unappetizing but want someone with more experience than Edwards or Obama.

Yea, 32 years is about the time frame the US will require to get over the horror between 2000 and 2008.

Gore was the loser in 2000 who couldn't even win his home state of Tennessee. If he had, he'd be president.

Add to that Gore is getting pwned on a daily basis by climatologists and meteorologists regarding his hypocrisy on global warming. If he does run, he'd be attacked relentlessly on that topic and I don't think he can take the heat (pun intended).

And what about Gore's policies and personality has changed in 8 years? He's still as stiff, wooden and hypocritical as he was in 2000.

No, Gore can't stop the Hillary juggernaut. :zod:
