Ugh. What a horrible showing on the part of defense. Yeah, they figured it out in the 4th quarter, but by that time it was too late.
Nearly every team in my fantasy league this week had a terrible showing, players injured left and right.
Three games in and it's rather obvious that the Dolphins season is over. Quarterback is no good. When Tannerhill manages to get the ball to the receivers they like to drop it like hot potatoes. Defense players whining over the defensive coordinators game plan. Coaches talking out of both sides of their mouth about Tannerhill. Yeah, we are done for the season. Thank God we got at least one win just in case we blow the next 13 games.
OK Now your just full of Shit. (Sorry I was reading your GREY Area! ) BTW- Nice Jersey, to bad he was a BUST in the NFL..
My sister lives in Baltimore, Being a Bengals fan I hate the Ravens, unless they are playing Cleveland.
They certainly haven't looked it in the meantime. I still call the Raiders the "los Angeles Raiders".
122 yards rushing last night (MNF record). A Superbowl Ring in his second year. What will it to move Wilson from 'game manager' to elite?
Even St. Louis didn't call them the "St. Louis Cardinals" when they were here. That's the baseball team. While they were here, they were always the "Big Red". Yes, like the chewing gum....
There's still a prejudice toward traditional, "big arm" passing quarterbacks but longevity plays a part as well. Nobody is branded as "elite" after their second year, Super Bowl or not. Roethlisberger won a Super Bowl during his second year as well (though the refs screwed Seattle throughout that game) as well as another one, but he's still not considered "elite" because of his style of play. If Seattle repeats or at least makes a deep playoff run (NFC Championship game) Wilson should be counted as "elite" in my book (and I say that as someone who's a big fan of his) because of all of the skills he brings to the position. He's the best of this generation of quarterbacks, IMHO.
I was kind of hoping the Jets would win for Maud, but that's really asking too much. At least he got to see them won their game for this season.
The Rams continue to be the most schizophrenic team in the league. Third time they've been up big against a good team - first time they actually held on for the win. But I'll take it.
So, 7 weeks in, and no real surprises. Other than a few early kinks, the premier teams have all taken their usual positions atop their respective divisions. Sometimes I think the NFL follows a complicated mathematical formula, one that even includes the drama of a shit team like the Jets almost pulling off an upset, yet not.
Brandon Marshall proves again that it was a wise decision for the Dolphins to dump him. Dolphins looked pretty good. Jets got pounded into the ground again. I'm a happy Dolphin fan. Today.
