Dallas is a huge surprise. No one expected them to have this kind of record. I thought they'd be lucky to get six wins all season and they've already got that many. I still don't trust them, though, and am waiting for the other shoe to drop with a big injury or something.

I also didn't expect Seattle to have a post Super Bowl letdown, but it appears they are. They should've beaten the Rams yesterday and the week before Dallas manhandled them for most of the game.

Yeahhhh I think the Cardinals being 5-1 and #1 in the NFC West and Seattle being #3 in the NFC West almost halfway into the season is kind of a BIG surprise.

I'm more surprised by the Cardinals than the Seahawks.

    That's because you're not a Seahawks fan.

Every Seahawks fan expected the Seahawks to win every game this season by at least 77 to 0, sweep the playoffs and the Superbowl, and then retroactively be awarded every Superbowl victory going back to 1922, (long before the Superbowl ever existed), based on all the nonsense I hear from every Seahawks fan. :jayzus:

 so true! And it's not unique to Seahawks fans. Everybody is convinced of that after their team wins the Superbowl. It is hugely hard to win a Superbowl. Absolutely everything has to go right. You can go in 18-0 and still blow it. Yeah, Seattle is a good team. No, they are not as good as their fans think they are.

I'm a bit surprised that the Cards are 5-1 at this point. But they have a great coach and were definitely on the way up last year.

I am HUGELY surprised that they've gone 5-1 with their first string QB out for half the games!

Well the Rams won last week so I am happy, but the Bengals just looked BAD! After a 3-0 start the Bengals are now just 3-2-1. Typical Bengals.

The Bengals didn't just look bad last week; they looked positively Jetslike. Worse than that, even. '76 Bucslike. That was one hell of a stinker they laid.

Well AJ Green is OUT, so is half the defense. Burficit has a concussion every week, and I personally think Marvin Lewis is a terrible coach. BUT as long as Mike Brown OWNS the Bengals they will never win.

Congratulations to Geno Smith on playing the worst quarter of football a quarterback has ever played! Ugh.

It was good game tonight between the Redskins and the Cowgirls.

The Redskins QB being a third string did pretty damn good on a weeks notice.

My Dolphins, while it looked like a strong win against the Jaguars, really only got anywhere because of the defense. The Offense waited until the 3rd quarter to do anything.

And our next four games are going to be nightmares unless the team comes out playing it's "A" game from start to finish.

We are playing the Chargers, Lions, Bills, and Broncos in November.

That's why they put Vick in. Hey Geno is just a 24 year old kid. He has shown shades of greatness. He's just young. He just turned 24 this month. Hey Dalton is young too,

Loved seeing the Pats open a can of whoop ass on the Broncos. Fans chanting "Brady is better," in the 4th quarter was a nice bit. Poor Peyton, he really cannot play at Gillette.

VERY poorly officiated game yesterday (Rams v 49ers). Bad calls cost the Niners potentially 9 points and the Rams a definite 14 points. Still karma evened everything out properly in the end. :finger:

As a Jets fan I've got to say that it sucks that the Jets set out today to ruin their draft position, but at least it was at Pittsburgh's expense. No one who isn't a Steelers fan fails to appreciate it when Roethlisberger lays an egg.

I've also got to say: Bet the house on Carolina. :bergman:

Why didn't I take a nap instead of watching the Giants/49ers game? The Jets are Super Bowl champions compared to the teams that showed up to play that stinker. Eli Manning threw 5 picks, yet San Fransisco was barely able to eke out a win despite the Giants having a defense about as useful as tits on a hanar. Both teams should be demoted to the CFL after that game. :bergman:
